Camp was great!

Camp was great. Our jam-packed week flew by. The activities, the collective worship times, the individual conversations about the most important topics, the experiential learning activities, the fire circle talks, the classes. All great times. Here are a few pictures to remind us of the 2011 Way of Life Christian Camp. We love you all!

Get Registered Soon!

Friends and Family,
As camp begins to peak over the horizon we hope that you are as excited as we are about the coming week.  Camp is less than 40 days away and we wanted to take this opportunity to fill you in on some of the things that we’ve been working on these past few weeks.  A couple highlights to share with you are:
·         We have completed a daily schedule complete with two tracks; one for teens and one for the all ages group.  We are excited about the track options as it will allow both groups to have unique experiences as well as some great communal worship and fellowship times.
·         We have finalized the evening activities for the week:
o   Sunday – Theme Volleyball.  This year’s theme will be Decades (i.e. 20’s, 30’s, 60’s etc).
o   Monday – Minute to Win It
o   Tuesday – Prayer Walk
o   Wednesday – 30hr Famine
o   Thursday – Open
o   Friday – Potluck and depart
·         We have also finalized the theme nights for the week:
o   Monday – Team or Jersey Night
o   Tuesday – Western
o   Wednesday – Mismatch
o   Thursday – Costume
o Friday– Luau/Hawaiian
We will be mailing out a postcard to former campers with a reminder about the week and information about registering.  The deadline to register for the week is July 4th.  It is vitally important that our kids preregister as we must let Nuhop know how many to cook and prepare for.  Please talk to any of your kids who are interested and urge them to register as soon as possible.  We are close to a full staff so it is also important for each of you to send in your registration and payment as soon as possible.  This will help us as we move forward in planning classes and groups, making cabin assignments and preparing for the week.
Please continue to pray for this week as well as for all of the campers who will be joining us this year.  God bless and we can’t wait to be with you all!

Camp is Coming Soon

Dear Camper and/or Guardian,

As the snow melts and we enjoy the spring rains, we look forward to the wonderful experiences we anticipate each summer. We are thrilled to announce a new chapter to our Christian camping experience this coming July 10-15.

First of all, we will be spending our week together at Camp Nuhop near Perrysville, Ohio.  This campground, surrounded by the spacious Mohican State Forest and Pleasant Hill Lake, will accommodate our traditional programming while providing us with many other fresh opportunities and experiences.

Second, we will be combining two weeks, formally known as “Robin Weier’s Teen” and “Robin Weier’s All Ages” weeks.  The passionate, servant-hearted, Christ-following staff that you are accustomed to living alongside for a week each summer will be serving you again this summer (a new location/environment, but same solid camp family.) We are preparing a week that all will share common meals and activities, but also supply distinct tracts for adolescents (13-21yr) and youth (8-12yr.)

We are really excited with what God will continue to do in our midst through this shared camping experience! Click the link below for registration information.
